Untwinked Barb *Expert Advice Needed*

Hey everyone, first off been a while since I've played D2, but this community has always been the most knowledgeable.

Anyways, because I am just returning to the scene, I wanted to make an untwinked barb (as I have 0 items to go off of).

I am basically wondering if it is possible to make an untwinked barb that can handle A4/A5 Hell (obviously not as a powerhouse.. but is able to kill things).

So my questions are:

1.) Is this possible?

2.) What type of Barb would you suggest? WW/Zerk/Frenzy? (I would prefer a WW Barb if possible).

Any advice or anything you guys can give me in regards to a build that might would (generally speaking) that you'd advise would much be appreciated.

that said ww or frenzy with 1 point in zerk is good enough to finish the game

playing east ladder? i got tons of low lvl stuff you can have|||I prefer frenzy but ww works too. Heck, you could go frenzy with 1 pt ww/zerk.

If you run the countess and pits in hell, you can get the runes for treachery, oath, and lawbringer. Those three make the rest of the game a breeze.

Just wait on the mastery unless you don't mind using up respecs.|||If you build around the items you find, it shouldn't be too difficult.

On my first char (barbarian), I finished the game with a bonesnap maul, the rest of my gear being blues and yellows.

It wasn't pretty.|||for an untwinked barb the war cry skill is a god send. lvl it to a decent lvl, so u get ~4 seconds stun and u can kill everything while it can�t attack u (champions and the like excluded)|||yeah if youre willing to trade its a breezer to get through the game, so many excellent elite weapons thrown away or given in 1pg 4 item games|||A friendly advice: collect flawless gems and cube them up to perfect ones. 20 or lower numbers of pgms will get you a Pul. A bad-mid Arreat's Face worth a Pul nowadays. You can get wonderful items for pgms.

Ps. 40pgms= can be sold for Ist.|||Some of the lesser-used runewords can also see you through the game. Oath plus Kingslayer makes a great combo on a ww/frenzy barb (you can ever run ubers comfortably with them). Oath alone works well, too, on pure ww-er.
