frenzy IAS

how does ias work with frenzy? i dont like how slow my barb swings when he starts frenzying. do i need to sheal both weapons or can i just do one and keep the other offhand? i seem to remember reading that you really only need the ias on one weapon for it to work on both. i tried searching but couldnt find it again|||ias helps on glove side weapon and base weapon speed helps on both sides|||Just to be clear: The weapon base speed of both weapons as listed on the arreat summit is averaged to give you your effective base speed. Then ias on the main (glove side) is added along with any other ias except that on the offhand weapon (which doesn't count at all).

Use this weapon speed calc * to see what your breakpoints are.|||The primary weapon is the weapon that equipped first. If you switch weapons out then back your primary weapon will always be the one on the left hand side of your inventory screen (above the glove as hubb said). Either way, the [moving running jumping] barb always show the primary weapon in his right hand, so you can always tell.
