I want to kill in one shot.

I'm making a berserk barbarian to run for keys and for chaos runs, I plan to use:

* an enigma for transportation

* highlords wrath amulet

* gore rider boots

* probably arreats face as helmet, maybe guillaumes?

* gloves... maybe LoH?

* belt... maybe nightsmoke? maybe damage reduction.

* one raven and one life/mana/res or dwarf star or wisp, I dont know...

I have serious problems deciding on weapon. I want a two-handed. My goal is to kill everything in one shot. I have an ethereal tomb reaver with 3 open sockets, but low ED, I'm considering to use it but I want your feedback on that choice. Maybe an upped Eth Hone Sundan is better for the one-shot kill?

I'm also considering making BotD but don't know in what... GPA? War Pike? Ghost Spear? Thunder Maul? Archon Staff?

Maybe make an ethereal Death decapitator?

Yeah those are sexy, why not make it even Colossus Sword with a higher damage? Speed issue?|||While 2-handed Berserkers are awesome, in practice grief is the superior choice for pvm. I also love the idea and tried to make a two-hander work but due to the sacrifices you have to make to get a good attack speed and maxed resists Grief comes out on top in terms of DPS. It'll be tough to hit maxed res if you use g-face instead of arreat's, especially if you use enigma, and the slower attack speed of two-handers means you get interrupted more often. Sure, you have howl, but killing them while they're running away from you with a 11 or 12 frame attack is not very efficient.

In case you do decide to make one I checked the numbers on BOTD GPA, eth tomb reaver and eth upped hone sudan, and the GPA seemed like the only one that could out-damage grief significantly while giving you a decent attack speed. You can hit 11 fpa by using highlords, loh, nosferatu's and 1 ias jewel. I'd also put a good amount into war cry to increase its stun duration.|||Quote:

yes. even with a faith merc, you still wind up needing some ias. curse Death for its lack of ias *shakes fist* oh well, it's a great weapon anyway.|||lulz. I totally forget about faith. It's one of those things I probably won't ever make so it slipped my mind.

Death Colossus Sword with a faith merc (has to be level 13 or higher) plus the 65 IAS from the equipment I listed in my last post gets you to a 10 fpa attack |||yeah, that's why i went with CB, it needs one less item of ias (54) to hit 10.|||Why go pure berserk? I prefer conc over zerk because zerk is more of a immune killer.|||Faith merc < Might / Pride merc. Just sayin'|||^How do you reckon that one out?

It probably has something to do with the 1000% ED of unresisted magic damage.
