Honor in war axe or twin axe

hey guys, Im about to start NM and I am having trouble deciding whether I should make an honor war axe which does less damage but is faster or an honor twin axe which is slower but does more damage.

Which would be better for a concentration barb?

If you think a different weapon would be better please suggest it, oh but I do want to stay with a 1 hander.

Concentrators tank pretty well, maybe a 2h insight or honor would serve u better|||ok so war axe is out, I dont really want to use a 2h because I dont want to use all the stats I can get from the shield. and I am also working on getting an insight for my merc|||Getting nice bases can be a mission if you play untwinked or self-found. If you can get the runes to make another Honor just use the twin axe until you find a better base. Dimensional Blade is a little better and shouldn't be to hard to get.

A Naga or Crowbill is ideal but you'll only see that drop from act 2 or so|||Actually I find 5os dimensional blades rather uncommon...crystal and phase no problem but dimensional seem to hide out in another...dimension. So if you find a normal non-socketed one hold on to it!

Ral + Amn + Perfect Sapphire + Normal or Eth weapon = socketed weapon (random number of sockets from 1 to highest that quality or item level [whichever is lower] will allow)|||I keep forgetting this every time someone asks a question relating to sockets. Irrespective of qlvl and ilvl, isn't the max number number of socket 4 for anything that can drop in nightmare? And how does this apply to larzuk and the cube recipe? I don't have time to look it up now, someone else can confirm.

So they won't drop with 5 sockets, but you can use the cube recipe.|||Thanks for your replies, but my search is over. I was scavenging in a NM cows last night and found a clean knout. Used larzuk to put five sockets into it. (larzuk always put on the max number of the sockets that the item can have).

I was really happy with the find because it has similar damage to twin axe but is faster; it will do great job getting me a good way into NM.

Btw are you guys rolling in amn runes to use them in a cube recipe that just randomizes the number of sockets on a weapon? I understand that they're not that uncommon but still seems like a waste, at least to me.

CND|||What else are you gonna use them for? You can pick up lower runes and combine them to form Amns. And Amns are easier to get than socket quests.
