best weapons for frenzy barb?

I'm going to start working on a frenzy barb and I wanted to hear other people's opinions on the best weapon set up. I was thinking EbotdCB and GriefPB. I would like to go with swords, mainly for because they look way more cool than axes, but I'd like to hear suggestions if anyone wants to share their opinion.|||Maybe have a look at the last 412 threads in this forum section posing exactly the same question :P

In short:

Grief has the best DPS because of it's damage, ignore target's defense and 20% deadly strike. BOTD has less but you get dual leech and +stats. Remember to put the BOTD in your main hand.|||Welcome to the forums.

'Grief'/'Grief'. Instant win. |||If you truly want swords then may I suggest a few combinations.

Main Hand

Grief Phase blade

Oath Cryptic Sword

Ebotd CB

Off hand

Last Wish Phase blade

Lawbringer Phase blade

Death Colossus Sword

Grief Phase blade

Each has their pros and cons depending on the specific task you wish your frenzy barb to do.

I prefer being quick off the mark on the first strike so chose dual phaseblades as the base weapons and alternate between Grief + Lastwish/Lawbringer and Lawbringer is a cheap weapon so you cant go wrong with testing it out.



Don't just look at the max damage on lawbringer but look at the decrepify and the ignore undead physical immunity which even outs the damage output .|||decrep is easy to get from merc so it aint that great(and using pride wont be much of a boos tgiven frenzys high ed and low merc dmg on pride)|||Its not such much the "I can get it from merc" thats the problem its the fact you have to rely on the merc to get it and with frenzy he really doesn't hit many monsters since frenzy attacks so fast and with high damage weapons there obliterated in seconds.

Also the sanctuary auras makes grief ignore all physical undead immunity which really helps speed the runs through chaos sanctuary.

Pure damage is always going to be grief though.

I found the best dual grief combination was

Guillames

2 x Grief (phase)

Fort

Laying of hands

String of ears

Gores

1 Raven + Dual leech ring

Highlords
