Grief vs Botd. Am I Right with this formula?

[:1]Hey. I wanted to compare Grief with Botd. I took the damage formulas from strategy compendium page and started to make an excel sheet.

Now I'm not sure about the formulas I used, but I'll let you experts examine if there's something I did wrong.

Grief Ba 37/363:

Wpn min Dmg: 390 (363+27)

plus to min dmg: 363

Stat bonus: 205

%ed from all other skills n stuff: 570%

Overall: 5843,28 min dmg

Wpn Max Dmg: 435 (363+72)

plus to max dmg: 363

stat bonus: 205

%ed from all other skills n stuff: 570%

Overall: 6192,48 max dmg

Botd Ba 401%:



Wpn min Dmg: 180

plus to min dmg: 0

Stat bonus: 205

%ed from all other skills n stuff: 570

Overall: 1575 min dmg



Wpn Max Dmg: 531

plus to max dmg: 0

stat bonus: 205

%ed from all other other skills n stuff: 570

Overall: 4646,25 max dmg

I'm not sure about the grief formula (Pretty confusing Strategy Compendium explanation).

Im pretty sure in reality you just add greifs + damage to the base wpn damage so if its 400+ and your base wpn damage is say 65 it would be like your base wpn damage would be 415-465 on a berzerker axe while botd is like 137-545 on a 415 yes greifs minimum is alot higher but the max damage on a botd is higher these arn't correct formulas just something to look at to try to help you understand|||Rofl, just from a glance you calculated +min and +max twice on Grief|||If the calculations for BOTD are correct, the average damage for each weapon would be almost the same... only a difference of about 100 average damage.. However, your missing the + damage from charms and gear.|||doesnt griefs +400 damage get calculated with ur % damage as if that was the weapons own damage so 15-65 at whatever percent should not be more then the 415-465 at relatively 400% less right?

I shouldn't add the grief's +dmg points to "plus to min dmg" points, because then the +dmg from grief is calculated twice. And yes now I understand I should only add the + to dmg (min or max depends on the charm/item) to "plus to min/max dmg" points.

It should look like this:

Grief Ba 37/363:

Wpn min Dmg: 390 (363+27)

plus to min dmg: 0

Stat bonus: 205

Overall: 3026,4 min dmg

Wpn Max Dmg: 435 (363+72)

plus to max dmg: 0

Overall: 3375,6 max dmg

plus to min dmg: 0
