Question About Making a Beast Caduceus

This is for a Frenzy Barb first of all, so would a Caduceus be just as effective as a Zerker?

Second, if the Caduceus had +2 Fanaticism as a staff-mod, would that add to the Fanaticism Aura given by Beast?|||The +fanaticism wouldnt work.

Beast caddy would be nice for a mace frenzier. You could hold it in a main hand, and a stormlash or a schaefers hammer in the off hand. Not to mention style points for a frenzier with 2 hammers (awesome look IMHO).|||I assume you are talking about your axe frenzy barb venge

yes but he could Storm lash in the other hand instead of Death if he's choice is to max Mace masteries.|||He can even Ber stormlash if he wants|||Hm. Thanks for the response. I had forgotten that I already had axe mastery maxed on my barb. Maybe if I ever get around to making another one, I'll make it a mace barb. Too bad the +2 Fana would have no effect.|||Quote:

Here's the thing: There are reports that when making Passion runeword (which grants Zeal) in a caduceus that has +Zeal, the bonus from the weapon itself actually does raise the level of the Zeal granted by the runeword. This is when the Barb equips it, even though the scepter clearly says the points to Zeal are Paladin Only.

I'd say we should consider the +Fanaticism situation may work the same way, and if someone gets the chance to test it out, they should report back here and shout it from the rooftops.

That's because Passion is +1 zeal not "Level 1 Zeal". Beast is "Level 9 Fanaticism" not +9 fanaticism. Therefore the level is fixed and there is no way to increase Beast's fanaticism from any equipment.|||Quote:
