Question about 1.07 Arreat's face

Let's try this question in barb forum:

What does 15% target's defense mean on 1.07 arreat?

Is this -15 % like eth rune, does it leaves target with 15% only defense overall or what?

Is this good for PVM or not (or only for PVP)?

It says -15% in wiki.|||Well its also say +1 to warcries which is wrong. Its +1 to combat skills.

And there is no minus before 15% target defense.

Don't know about 1.08 for sure but 1.07 has combat not warcries.|||Oops that was the 1.08 version. But I think it means -15% defence|||Np. ATMA files says it should be the same.

+35 to Maximum Damage (0.5 per Character Level)|||Back in 08 and 09, the 08 Arreat's had the 15% target defense mod on it on bnet. It meant exactly that: target's defense became 15% of what it started as. That made an 08 Arreat's a truly godly helm for bvb or bv anyone with high def. I used one on my jav barb to rip s/s barbs apart with very little AR needed. IIRC, 1.07 never never went live on bnet--or at least not for very long--so I'm not sure if there are any differences. If it works like an original 08, it essentially gives you ITD that also works in dueling. One of the many crappy nerfs that came with 1.10 was the morph in 08 Arreat's stats to -15% def. Made my 2 legit (and self-found) 08's practically useless.

So that means when moved forward to 1.10 even in single player that mode would become -15%?

Main thing is i wanna know if that 15% target's defense will still be at its maximum in PVM play in 1.10 single, so id dont't need plenty of attack rating from other sources.|||I'm almost positive that it will change in sp, too. I think I remember hearing that any item that changes stats online changes in sp, too. I don't play sp, though, so I couldn't say for sure. You could always back up your save file and test it out, I guess. In terms of pvm AR, though, I've never worried too much about AR outside of ubers (which aren't an issue, obviously). Pretty much any build with 2xRavens will have plenty of AR for anything you'd ever want to do in sp. My current bnet pvm-er uses botd + death swords with 2 ravens and a few AR/Life GC and is over 10k AR. I don't know what kind of sp resources you're working with, but anything over 75% to hit is plenty.|||I am just trying to figure if its better to use 1.07 instead normal one.

If stats stays the same it could be. If not 1.09+ is vastly superior.It's mostly just to use something different.|||I haven't found Arreat's yet but at least all other items I've brought forward have retained their stats.
