Merc weapon loadout for a GF barb

I cant decide what load to use on my act 2 merc for running Hell travi...

So I have a couple of general questions aswell...

Is the cannot be frozen mod worth it for the merc?

Does prevent monster heal work with the merc?

Is crushing blow worth it vs the council ?

So here are some options I am considering

1 Eternity in a ETH Giant threser + CoT (lem'd) + Chains of honour

Great LL+MF+GF...Awesome res decent def and 200% Damage to demons

2 Eternity in a ETH Giant threser + CoT (lem'd) + Stone

Similar to above choice but massive DEF boost

3 Eternity in a ETH Giant threser + CoT (lem'd) + Treachery

Slightly worse than the above choice imo but could still work

4 ETH Upp'd honesundan Yari (shael/shael/Amn) CoT(lem'd) Duriels (Lem)

Loads of CB decent leach

5 ETH BoTD Warpike CoT(lem'd) Upp'd duriels (lem'd)

Lots of damage and LL

So whats your verdict ppl?

Tell me what you like to use|||I sometimes run hell council with my gf necro and his merc only (no summomed minions) and didnt have problems in terms of survival with eth upped CoT jeweld 15ias 30fires (sufficient leech, fres), eth UMed Gbane (cbf, dr, mdr) and eth tresher Insight (high hitting speed).

CBF is overrated some say but Id put it on merc for sure. CB is always nice but eBOTD > hone sundan if thats what you meant.

Imho any of the suggestions will work just fine for your merc .)|||I can't give an opinion on the gear you listed, but I use a merc that is set up for maximum DPS & kill in 3-4 player games if possible.

The barb is for gf/mf, the merc is entirely focused on killing faster. If I ran in one player games I would have to tone it down or risk a temp ban because of creating new games too quickly.|||Unless you have Amp or Decrep charges somewhere an eth Reapers is going to beat all of those options.|||^^

Yeah eth reapers is a big help for ww barb's merc since lifetap dont proc from dracs by using ww. I think decrep is the biggest help for a ww barb imo.
