frenzy barb for trav runs : weapon issues

hai

I have a lvl 87 frenzy barb that I'd like to use for some trav runs.

his gear is :

areats

duress

dracs

goblins

string of ears

rising sun amu

ravenfrost & carions wind

current weapons are baranaras and fleshripper.

here is list of items i have currently : http://ch1zra.com/d2/flavie.html

and keep in mind that I'm not using RWM and that I'm playing singleplayer, so no griefs/deaths and other nice stuff...

i was thinking about zerker CTA, but as RTB just told me, 26 durability sux big time |||Hm... difficult if all the good weapons are out .

Without having checked the breakpoints for Frenzy and just going by damage here, I'd say Doombringer, Grandfather, Kingslayer, Beast and CTA if made in good bases are good options, Cranebeak could be decent, too.|||The Redeemer, Astreon's Iron Ward, Stormlash, Death Cleaver some combo of those(didn't look up frenzy frames) should work fine.|||Grandfather+Lightsabre.

Reaper's Toll for merc.

Btw dual Grief PB works best for frenzy.|||@BAMFSpecialOps: He doesn't have any of these items.

@bodry: Grief works best for pretty much every melee build. However, as he said, he's SP without the RWM, which means he can't make them.

@chizra: Crescent Moon should also make a decent weapon, mostly because of the CtC Static Field.|||I will look into Crescent Moon. PB as base i assume ?|||@LongingForDeath uh.. they are all listed so idk.

''here is list of items i have currently : http://ch1zra.com/d2/flavie.html''|||The Flavie report lists all sets and uniques in the game. The numbers to the left of each name indicate how many of each he actually has. Blue numbers mean in total, red mean they are in stash, yellow mean they are on a character, grey ones indicate ethereals.

P.S.: Of course, BNet players might not know that .|||I ran with an Azurewrath/Doombringer combo for a while and it worked effectively enough at players 3.

Since you don't have Azurewrath you could try Cresent Moon/Doombringer or Cresent Moon/Grandfather (not sure how Grandfather performs as have never used it).
