How far will these guys carry my WW barb? I don't suspect they will be end game worthy even if upped, but I tried em out on my frenzy barb and they tore up Norm and NM fairly well.
Don't have much other gear tho, just a LoH, SoE, Goblin Toes, Cathan's Ring for the LL, Manald for the ML, and a lucky Arreats. Oh and a Lionheart Scarab Husk I made yesterday |||They're quite nice, but the range will really start to hamper you late nightmare and beyond. I suggest a couple of Honor Nagas. Cheap, incredibly effective and they'll last you well into Hell until you find some better gear.|||They'll carry you all the way to hell baby... and then you die.. in act 1... I wouldn't up them :/.
Most elite unique swords are better; cheap too.
The Honor runeword is quiet nice and if you can afford it, Oath.
Quote:
Amn + El + Ith + Tir + Sol
+160% Enhanced Damage
+9 To Minimum Damage
+9 To Maximum Damage
25% Deadly Strike
+250 To Attack Rating
+1 to All Skills
7% Life Stolen Per Hit
Replenish Life +10
+10 To Strength
+1 To Light Radius
+2 To Mana After Each Kill|||Thanks for the suggestions! What would be a good choice as a base sword to look for? I have a toon I can use to tail the botters in hell Chaos runs to scavange stuff with so with some persistence I will probably be able to find something decent.|||honor is no good for ww. id suggest rib cracker for a low level weapon - reaches last bp and is also fast.|||my wolfbarb is self leveled before 1.13 patch with bloodletter and second weapon since i dont have any skills in combat tree and wolfhowl is high level. untill lvl 79 i combined with bloodletter and grief, and it worked just fine...he never died in pvm, and now is one of top wolfbarbs in europe non ladder...|||bloodletters are really nice, used them for my barb from 30 to 49
they do good dmg
if you can affort swap to an eth elite sword with Oath runeword
at the moment im in nm a3 at /p8 and almost everything dies with 1 WW using eth Oath highland blade|||Even perf upped dual bloodletters are horrible in dmg. So no do not use them for ending gear. They are just good for a start.
