Dual wield WW, PB or BA?

[:1]I'm getting tired of running LK with a Sorc and so I thought I'd reactivate my WW Barb to run Travincal instead. To ease the process I decided to upgrade a bit from the IK set I retired him with.

I have 1 Grief PB and 1 Lo.

Option 1: Make another Grief PB.

Pro: Easy solution and I like indestructible weapons.

Con: Low range, suboptimal damage

Option 2: Make a Grief BA

Pro: Better range, optimal damage

Con: Repairs, until I make a second one it screws with my Masteries, if I don't roll at least 34 IAS I don't reach the highest breakpoint, should I want to respec to Frenzy at one point PB's are better.

TL;DR

The BA option is better in theory but a major hassle. Will I really notice any significant difference in killing speed between Grief BA and Grief PB?|||The range difference nor the damage difference is really important. PB wins easy in the comfort department.|||Quote:

What stephan said :>|||That's the answer I was hoping for. A second PB it is. Thank you both!|||grief BA is completely usable though. just make sure it's a non superior base. the repair cost for 2 weapons is about 10k, and you can do 1-2 cs runs between repairs.

PB requires a hefty dex investment though but indestructability is a huge bonus for sure.|||The other nice thing about PB is that the IAS roll is inconsequential. You'll hit the last ww breakpoint no matter the roll.

Peace|||Generally I prefer x2 grief ba's for its range. Consider monsters have a different size which also effects range.|||I say phase blade for other reasons than the ones that are listed.

Grief PBs are much more tradeable and usable by other types of characters - it is not wasted wealth. A A paladin would never touch a Grief BA, but a PB works on all characters. If you actually want to preserve your wealth in some way, make a Grief PB. They are just far easier to trade and get value for them after you are done with it.|||what are you talking about. every pvp smiter worth his salt should use a grief ba. the reason is ba has 1 tick better range and that affects smite. it's actually quite a big difference because range 2 only gives you a few diagonal pixels over range 1, whereas range 3 gives you a range increase all around the char.
