[:1]hey guys
some of you may have seen me on the european trade forums for ladder, but recently i have lost interest in it slightly due to the fact that personal situations restrict my play time somewhat and therefore i struggle to generate good characters etc.... anywho, ive decided to start on single player and my first character to be a barbarian, with concentrate as a main skill.
my questions to you are: in single player with no trading or rushing or muling etc what skill distribution will work best with a concentrate build ?
what items will benefit me and what mods to look for? (bear in mind this is 'use what i find' so top runewords and arreats face, dracs etc arent going to be readily available to me)
what things to collect for cube recipes etc: i assume in single player a lot more crafting and rerolling is done so what kind of recipes would fit me best?
i guess thats it however if you feel i could benefit from any other knowledge you attain then please feel free to help me
Regards Twibz|||an oldie, but a goodie, and still (fairly) relevant too.|||no muling??? Are you crazy? - Without muling single player you only look at uniques, the rest is almost impossible to "collect" before your stash is full with other stuff you need to (but can't use yet).|||Quote:

it's just the way i wish to play, is that a crime?
if anything it is obviously making the game more challenging for me, if you want to mule, fine go do it, but dont call me 'crazy' or judge me...|||For weps, one idea is Blood Zerker axes. Gamble magic zerker axe, run nm countess for orts, and cube with jewels and prubies. Not the most amazing things you'll find, but can be rather good. I managed a couple decent ones for my frenzy barb rather quickly that are holding me over.
Eagle Hew
Berzerker Axe
Dmg: 70-266
VF Attack Speed
40ias
192% Enhanced Dmg
+3 Max Dmg
+56 to Max Dmg (based on char lvl)
+248 to AR
3% LL
+10 to Life
Storm Reaver
Berzerker Axe
Dmg: 94-280
VF Attack Speed
295% Enh Dmg
+104 to AR
3% LL
+11 to Str
Prevent Monster Heal
1 socket (Shael)
Not amazing, but really cheap. Just a little time. I know these are for Zerker axes, but the recipe with work with any magic axe of any char/quality lvl. There's probably better stuff out there, but this is just an idea.|||thanks mogar i may have to try that recipe myself later on in the game |||Quote:

You can get weapons like this by just shopping for cruel weapons or picking up and IDing every magic elite weapon..|||True, but I just felt like experimenting a bit since I've never messed around with crafting. Still, once I get my sorc up to lvl 95 or so, I'd like to see what else I can roll.|||If you are making a conc barb on sp my opinion is to use a fast and decent damage weapon. Look through crystal swords and dimensional blades and make sure they are eth so you can up them to pb for decent amounts of damage. It may be tough finding a decent damage pb but good luck getting a weapon like that.
Skill distribution should not be hard. Its easy to figure out just looking at syngeries and all that.|||honor runeword isn't bad for normal/early NM
passion isn't bad either though the monsters flee may annoy you
