- If I'm dual wielding, both weapons must have 34 ias? Or only 34 ias on the main hand is requiered?
- Speaking of main weapon, which one is it? The right or the left one (on my screen)?
- How WW hits are calculated? Each weapon have a separate chance to hit or every whirl have it own chance (with both weapons)?
- If I have A, B, C mods on one weapon, and X, Y, Z mods on the other one, will all mods were applied to WW?
- Is recommended to wield two two-handed weapons, two one-handed weapons, or only one two-handed?
Thanks for reading! Any feedback would be appreciated.

1: Both must meet the breakpoints to work properly. 34ias is specific to berzerker axes, but not all. There is a speed calculator in the sticky above.
2: Main is right hand - glove side. You will see it in the char screen on your characters right if it's properly equipped
3: Each weapon is rolled separately, but can of course hit together every fourth frame. The very first swing is the main weapon only rolled, then both are rolled every 4th frame. But separately.
4: No the mods don't add to each other, they are rolled independently. Very few exceptions would be things like stat points. Adding str of course adds damage to both weapons. Also aura's benefit. But no if you see deadly strike, crushing, ow etc etc that's independent.
5: Depends. If you have 2 crappy weapons, they wont make up for a good two hander. If your pvm it isn't critical anyway. If you must have the ultimate, you'll seek 2 x greifs or grief/beast (pvp). IAS always matters, but IAS from other items like gloves jewels or anything other then what is on the weapons themselves, will not help ww attack speed (fyi).
good luck and have fun

there's 2 different ways that the game wil recognize what is your main hand, and its based mostly on how you equip them.
when equipping them individually, the first one you put in (or still have in) will always be main hand. This also means that if you take a weapon out (no matter which one), the remaining weapon is now the main weapon, no matter what slot it is in, and if you put the other weapon back in it is now the secondary, even if it is in the 'main' hand slot (left) above the gloves
a good example of this was the other night when i swapped out my main weapon for the hellforge hammer (to complete the HF quest). couldn't swing at the forge for some reason...until I realized that i still had my secondary weapon in when i swapped out, which set my secondary...which was in the right slot...to my main weapon. once i swapped that one out and back in (leaving the HF hammer in my left slot), it reset my main weapon back to the left slot, and I could swing at the hellforge once more.
the second approach is when you switch over to your alternate weapon setup. when you switch over, and back, the game automatically assigns the 'main' weapon to whatever is in your left slot. essentially, this is a quick way to 'reset' your weapons when your shifting stuff back and forth. add the weapon you want as your 'main' in the left slot, and swap over to your alternate set and back.
FYI - you can tell the difference visually by watching your toon. the real 'main' hand weapon will always show in the right hand, secondary in the left. equip 2 different looking weapons (mace and dagger are good examples) , and take the main one out...the one that was originally in your toons left hand (secondary) will now be in the right, as it's now the 'main' weapon

For PvM it's really a matter of taste. like the above poster said, ultimately dual grief is very high damage. but many of the end game 2h weapons get close enough that it really doesn't matter. And I can say from experience that whether your using a dual grief setup or a EBotD Gpole, hell mobs will melt in front of you like butter. so mostly depends on what look you like the best...luke skywalker on steroids with 2 glowy phase blades in hand, or the old executioner look with a huge axe like doohickey. or 2 wicked 1h axes, or whatever.
currently using a eBotD zerk and last wish zerk on my non ladder barb, very fun setup. my newest ladder barb is running a lightsaber and upped coldsteel eye, and im quite impressed with this killing potential in early hell (haven't got out of act1 yet tho). I've ran Ik barbs and killed hell baal solo and in groups with the Ik's set and standard jewelry, so just about anything will work in PvM. Currently im really enjoying DW setup (more hits faster = fun!), and enjoying the speed of my lightsaber. considering saving for a grief or two. I may switch over to my IK's set at 76 mainly due to its sheer survivability.|||^Mostly true and you won't really notice the difference up to players 3 or 4, but beyond that 2xGrief really is far ahead of the rest. eBotD GPA is just slightly ahead of most other dual-wielding options. Grief's ITD also saves you some inventory space as AR charms aren't really necessary.
That being said, I like my semi-titan BotD GPA setup so much that I can't get myself to make another Grief.|||Thank you so much for your replies. I now have a better understanding of WW (and game) mechanics.|||Quote:

1. If you are talking about berserker axe then yes.
2. Dont matter just unequip and reequip weapon you want to be on offhand.
3. I think WW ar just shows average chance to hit. Not 100% sure though.
4. Mods on weapon are applied seperately on each weapon excluding auras, stats, etc.
5. Two one-handed weapons. griefz/beastz
Good luck with all of that.
