IK Barbarian Merc?

[:1]well i just built a merc and i need help with the merc options...

debating between these two

act 1 merc: ice arrows

faith

andys

eth fort

act 2 merc: might or blessed aim

pride

andys

eth fort

which do you think is best?

gear: full ik, metal grid, ravenfrost, bk (will reach max ias with faith aura)

2os ik helm is socketed with 2x 15% IAS, 12 res all

2os maul is socketed with 2x 15% IAS, 30% ED

1os ik body is socketed with 1x 15% IAS 30% ED

i wont reach max ias without faith aura even if i use highlords... but is max ias worth less dmg/ar?|||reapers is by far the best option for any barb merc.

what i use on my ik wwer is

might merc w/eth reapers shael, eth upg duriels ed/ias, gaze ber.

tough to crack and delivers decrepify all day lonf what else you want?|||Have a couple questions...I assume your not trying to hit the last WW breakpoint as the IK maul will hit the last breakpoint here with only 2 15ias jewels in the weapon according to the WW breakpoint guide(correct me if I am wrong). How far are you from reaching the next breakpoint? Are you remembering to include the 25% ias set bonus from the gloves in your calculation? If you have too, you could switch out the IAS jewels in the maul for shaels and that will give you an extra 10% but would also drop your damage quite a bit. It all depends on the dps calculation to see if the last breakpoint is truely that important.|||ik weapon needs 70% ias to reach the last (4 frame) ww. since 40% is already built in, only 30% more is required. 2 ias jewels will do the trick. off weapon ias is necessary for other attacks like berserk or conc. for that use the german calc.|||Quote:

Fanat aura does not benefit ww ias only ias on weapon does. I believe you need at least 70% ias on ik maul to max out ias so put x2 shael runes in ik maul or x2 40 ed/15 ias jewels if you are rich. Get a hlords instead of using metalgrid because you will benefit from its crit mod.

For the merc go with an a2 might merc with eth reapers.
