Goin back to the Basic WW Barb

[:1]Ok its time for me to fall back in love with my orginal Classic char. thats right Lancer WW Barb.

Now im doing a ladder barb and i know Lancers suffer from Slow speeds even BOTD'd compared to others.

So what im looking at is most likely a Eth War Pike

Helm Upped Arreats

Armor either fort or Nigma

Belt Perfect Nos

Weapon Botd Eth War Pike

Now here is where i need help what doi need to have a good WW for Speed.

Gloves=Was thinking Dracs but would it be better for a IAS glove here?(wont afford SteelRend)

Ammy= Should i use Highlords or Mara's? (hopefully later craft him one)(wont afford Metal Grid)

Boots= Thinking Gores or Treks anyone have other suggestions?

Rings=Raven and other one in question thinking atm Perfect BK or Dual Leech

Socket for arrests= Should i Um it, IAS jewel, or a 30%ED 25%Fire Resist +10Max damage



Merc= What merc to use? Thinking of Defiance merc|||WW isn't affected by offweapon ias, so you might as well skip all of that. I'd use an ebotd ghost spear or great poleaxe if I wanted to use a 2h weapon|||War Pike has the most damage out of all the Pike classes how are those better?|||They hit 4fpa-> a 50% damage increase. War pike doesn't do 50% more damage than those.|||is that 4fpa w/o other IAS|||IAS off the weapon does not affect whirlwind attack speed, like I said in my first reply. Only ias & weapon speed modifier from the weapon affects attack speed.|||How does a 2H spear-type WWer stack up in comparison to a GriefZ + BeastZ WWer as far as Hell Chaos/Baal runs?|||I second the eBotD Ghost Spear/Great Poleaxe suggestion. Make sure to load up on off weapon ED to take advantage of that huge base damage from your eBotD weapon.

A lot less trips to the blacksmith for sure. I will say that my titan WWer (with a eBotD Ghost Spear) did pretty well in 8 player Hell Chaos and Baal runs.|||@NanoMist: Around how many HP should someome shoot for with a Titan WW'er?|||If you wanna steamroll hell cs and baals, you might want something more like mah boy build
