Missing too many attacks

I am playing a frenzy dual wielding barbarian, and yesterday I spent like 30-40 minutes killing Baal in normal difficult (lvl 34).

With frenzy, I only impacted Baal once per each 7 - 8 attacks. I don't know what happened, but it was really annoying being in front of him moving my arms without impacting him.

Is there because my low dex (I put most of my points in Vitality, and some in strength) or what?|||Hi

I think is normal beacause Baal in normal difficult is lvl 60.|||Dex does help, but isn't really an affective way of boosting your attack rating. The Angelic amulet/ring and partial IK gloves/belt/boots set is a good and cheap way to get AR. Did you use Battle Cry? That halves his defense, even at level 1.|||Vouch for Hubb. But yeah dont put more into dex. AR charms help alot too. Use A2 Merc with blessed aim. Untill NM where you can get Might|||Quote:

Yes that would be a great way to start out pvm'ing with a barb. Barbs generally have low ar even when fully syngeried so battle cry will help alot through the beginning of the game.
