My Frenzy Barb - which merc and which equip?

i am doing a frenzy barbarian at the moment and i am lvl 90 now.

My equipment will be like that:

Arreats, draculs gasp, gore rider, verdungos, highlords wrath, 2x bul kathos, fortitude

I am not quite sure about my weapons and about the equip of my merc.

So i would say the best merc for me is that one with the might aura, but i think that my barb will equip last wish and so both auras wont stack or?

which auras do the other mercs have?

Which both weapons would you wear with your barb ( my favourites at the moment: doom and last wish )

And how should i equip the merc? I prefer beast for my merc, so i have fana, might and holy freeze aura and then i would take the defiance merc. So i would have 4 auras .

Sounds good or not? ^^|||hey man i'd suggest getting rid of one of the BKs for a raven frost. You are going to need the attack rating.|||i am wearing a ravenfrost at the moment, because i dont have a second bk and i see how the attack rating goes down, when i take it off...

What about the merc ?

Is it possible to put the beast rune word into a merc weapon?|||You can get a merc faith which would give you fanat, you would then have to use an a1 merc though. If I were you I would get a merc with Pride (gives concentration).

You then have two choices (if you are trying to get a lot of auras which is what it seems like).

LWz and Beastz - in this case have your merc use defiance

Beastz and Griefz - in this case have your merc use might.

These are just a few of many options, what are you mainly using this barb for? PvP or ubering or _____? This well help people know what you should be going for.|||I am mainly playing with two friends: a firesorc and a summonnecro.

We want to do Ubertristramruns later. So i should be quite tanky, though its not the most important part, because we have skeletons and i should do much damage!

Furthermore the auras would be helpfull for the skeletons ( and me as well ).

But we think that we will replace the firesorc with a paladin ( smiter ) for another good aura.

But of course I want to play my frenzy without a group too and want to handle many creeps in short time ---> damage + plus good auras and much life.

So I would prefer Doom at first handed weapon and Last wish as second! So the creeps are slowed by the Holy Freeze Aura of Last wish, my attack speed is fast, because of Dooms 45% attack speed bonus, much DS and open Wounds, even more and better life tap and a nice Might aura.

So therefore a merc with might aura would be useless, because i already have one ( they would not stack or? ). Thats why I would prefer the defiance merc so that i get not hit that often and he should wear a weapon with Beast for the Fana aura, which would boost my speed and damage even more ( + attack rating, which is usefull as well ).

So my barb would be good for playing alone against creeps and it would be good to play in a large group, because of the auras and in PvP i am not really interested!

And if you and your merc both have might aura's they will not stack, only the highest level will be taken into account.|||concentrate aura is nice too, but i would not be affected by a fana aure, while playing alone and a fana aura is the best for me :/.

So its the question: one aura more in the group or better auras when playing alone .

Well beast cannot be made into a polearm, so you will not be able to have that on an a2 merc. You could however put a faith on an a1 merc which would give you fanat, however when the smiter was in the party this merc would not help since the fanat of the pally would be higher. So I guess the choice for you is to choose which of the two you want to maximize (damage while being with the pally or damage on your own).|||Quote:

I would go for one more aura when playing alone since the group is already strong as it is
